If you are travelling in Khao Lak. You should visit Phang Nga Elephant Park. The Phang NGA Elephant Park is an ethical retreat near Thung Kha Ngok in Phang Nga. This family elephant park has cared for elephants for over 150 years, with each generation learning something new about the Asian elephant and their welfare. The Park is like a typical small, rural Thai village, where thirty people live and work together with their elephants and families.
The best four hours of wildlife interaction you will never had. With Phang Nga Elephant park you will enjoy to feed, walk, groom, adore and even swim with the elephants.
Phang Nga Elephant Park is outstanding in their ethical treatment of the elephants and offers a rare and informative experience. An experience that really allows the individual to get to know the elephants.
Morning: 8:30am – 12:30pm in the park no including transfers
Afternoon: 1:30pm – 5:30pm in the park no including transfers
Learn about the mahout’s (elephant handler’s) daily routine as you watch a demonstration of an elephant health check. Enjoy exploring the jungle alongside your gentle giant, prepare her food while she rests, and then feed her surrounded by amazing hillside jungle scenery. Back at the Park, you can follow the ancient tradition of scrubbing your elephant with a piece of vine harvested from a special tree that is used to care for her skin. After you (and your elephant) have fun bathing in our rock pool, you will be offered a delicious, freshly-cooked, traditional Thai lunch.
You will then be asked to help plant food for the elephants as part of our conservation programme. Before your experience ends, you will get the opportunity to meet our baby elephant. Please note: Children under the age of 7 are not permitted to participate in this programme for safety reasons. Instead, please consider our Family Elephant Experience

Transfers are included from Khao Lak, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Ao-Nang and Khao Sok.
A 25% deposit will be taken when you book. The balance must be paid in cash at the Park.
Supplement for a single person booking: 1,500THB.
If you require to be dropped off at a different location to your pick-up point, this will cost an extra 2,000THB (for up to a maximum of 5 people).

Bring your family to Phang Nga Elephant Park to discover what makes the Asian elephant so special. Learn about daily routine of the mahout (elephant handler) as you watch a demonstration of an elephant health check. Your children will learn how to respect and admire the elephants while they interact, watch, and learn.
Under the very close supervision of our capable mahouts and guides, your family will get to feed our gentle giants with bananas and can have a lot of fun bathing with them in our rock pool. Your family experience ends by meeting our playful baby elephant.
