The Blue Cayon course
Unquestionably one of the most exclusive in the Pacific Asian Region, it enjoys a worldwide reputation for its quality standards for club members. The Blue Canyon stands for the ultimate in the luxury sector and in the quality of service, only accepting a few members and guests.
The Designer
Yoshikazu Kato, a worldwide known golf course designer, used the naturally undulating relief of the course and just by moving 250.000 cubic meter of soil he gave birth to the Canyon course, a 18-hole competition course surrounded by the majestic mountains of Phang Nga. In March 1999, Yoshikazu Kato finished The Lakes by adding natural lakes and water filled canyons, the whole is a haven of peace with broad spaces and above all bathed with shimmering lakes. Mr Yoshikazu Kato still works for the Blue Canyon and keeps improving his master-work, the Canyon and the Lakes.

You can choose to be part of the most exclusive golf club and the most respected for its immaculate facilities. The management succeeded in founding the perfect balance between exclusivity and profitability for the generations of members who joined since the inauguration in 91.
The Blue Canyon Country Club situated in the North, near the main road of Phuket Airport has been awarded “Golf of the Year 1999 for Asia and the Pacific”, Golf Resort Year 2000 and the course par-3 hole 17 ranks among the nicest in the world. It comprises 18 holes.
With a smooth opening, the tee shot should be well executed and reach 200 meters (from the blue tee) so that players can avoid tricks from the trees on their left and beyond the fairway palms. Getting closer to the green, the shot should be short and on the right of the hole.

Award-winning by the well-known architect Yoshikazu Kato, the lake course was designed on an old tin and rubber tree mine which was filled with water and whose environment has been preserved. This course between lakes and gorges is wonderful.
The Lake course with an amazing view is a challenge for players since the first moment but the dangers of the water filled canyons require experimented or novice golfers to be very precise in their shots like on par 3 where there is a bunker ahead and behind. But the big plus factor is on the holes 17 and 18. Golf cars are available on Canyon Course only.
